The  chunar  or the  odhni  is  a  piece  of  cloth  with a  long  length, approximately 2.5  meters  in  length  and 1.5  meters  in  width, and is  worn  as a  veil.  Made  of patched fabric or  light  printed  it  features  aesthetic and pleasing embroidery, beadwork or other adornments.  There  are  various  ways  of  wearing  it, but the most Rajasthani ethnic  way  is  tucking  one  corner  inside the ghagra,  resting  the  middle  portion on the  chest  and draping the end part over each  shoulder  and above the  head,  covering  it  elegantly.
